SEPNET Membership
There are 3 levels of SEPNET membership, details are available via the title links and below
- Company membership designed for organisations active in developing or using photonic and optics related products and based in or around the South East of England. Details will be announced shortly
- Individual association, via the SEPNET LinkedIn community is open to all individuals working within photonics in the area and is design to enable people to maintain and increase their contacts within the local photonics community.
- SEPNET mailing list. Signing up to the SEPNET mailing list is the most basic mechanism of keeping in touch with in SEPNET and will keep you up-to-date with future SEPNET activities.

SEPNET is currently developing a company membership structure. Further details will be published here shortly.
In the mean time we encourage you to join the SEPNET mailing list to be kept up-to-date with future events and join the SEPNET LinkedIn community to keep in touch with others who are active in photonics in your area.
Individual
association - SEPNET LinkedIn community
Collaboration is often critical in the efficient development of new products and applications. In turn effective collaborations often have their origins in the relationships built between individuals. SEPNET is therefore keen to encourage and foster networking between individuals active in photonics and its applications. To this end we have created a dedicated SEPNET group on the popular business networking forum LinkedIn.
Those of you who are already LinkedIn members will be familiar with its format of leveraging your current contact network to enable new business introductions. It is both a useful way of keeping in touch with previous colleagues and collaborators and an effective method of being introduced to new contacts.
If you would like to keep in touch with those active in photonics in your area please join the SEPNET LinkedIn group here. This is a network built around individuals not companies and we actively encourage multiple individuals to join from any organisation. If you are new to LinkedIn it takes only a few moments to complete a minimum profile. If you are already a LinkedIn member you can simple request to join the SEPNET group. We hope this will rapidly build into a representative network of the local photonics community.
You will also be pleased to know that LinkedIn is specifically designed to avoid the propagation of SPAM, broadcast emails cannot be sent to members of the group. To be kept up-to-date with SEPNET activities we encourage you to separately signup to the SEPNET mailing list below.
